Ireland's Festival of Nations
Welcome!
The Ireland's Festival of Nations is a gathering of ethnic communities and the general public across Ireland – bringing people from different backgrounds and different cultural and ethnic activities from all denominations & nationalities from across 6 continents of the world which are all visibly represented in present day Irish society to celebrate together. Started in 2016, the annual event is meant to promote meaningful cross-cultural interactions, education, as well show-case the diversity and multiculturalism in Ireland, and a celebration of inclusion, and integration and togetherness!
The Ireland's Festival of Nations is a free event for all the family. You're always welcome to bring all your friends and all the family with you. There's so much to see and do throughout the day . Join in the parade of nations and Represent your Culture or just be in it to enjoy. There's something for everyone!

Back in 2016, the festival started with just a few groups that perfoming , including only 6 gazebo stands and countries represented. The 'ordinary grass' was our main stage. However phenomenal interests shown by the public right from the begining was proved it was something positive and we continued.
IFON, as we call it, growth potential was clear and this was evidenced in sunsequent editions of the festival. We had the largest gathering in 2019 with 50 stands representing various countries and organisations, and almost 7000 visitors coming & going, by this time we had a stage large enough to hold upto 16 performers at a time.
I hope that we can all come back together soon to give our beloved multicultural festival a huge post-pandemic Bounceback!"
Massive thanks to DCC for being the backbone of IFON right from the early days! -
